SANN believes in the principle that only through quality education of its youth can a country produce citizens who are capable of contributing to the overall development of their nation. SANN also believes that in the context of globalization, international exposure contributes significantly towards the quality of education.

SPECIAL FEATURES

The programs offered at SANN Research Institute - Nepal are unique in nature. They provide opportunities for American and Nepalese students to interact with each other in a shared academic environment.  The exposure to each other's distinct cultures generates better ideas and promotes global harmony and understanding.

Participation of American and other foreign students in the SANN program has also made positive contributions to tourism, the main industry in Nepal.  These students' participation in campus activities, travel through the country and trekking has had a positive influence in this aspect of Nepal as well.

SANN INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE

This college has been created in the year 2000 under the management of SANN Research Institute to run the academic programs for Nepalese students. The main purpose behind its establishment was to provide Nepalese students with quality education at the level of international standard in the prescribed period as deemed and desired by the Nepalese students and parents. Programs offered:

• Higher Secondary Program

• Bachelor Level Program

• English Language Program

Higher Secondary Program

The higher secondary level education (Grades 11 and 12) in Science and Management streams is affiliated with Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB). It is a two-year program.  Admission is open to students after they have passed their SLC (Grade 10).

Bachelor Level Program

SANN also has a Bachelor of Business Administration program (BBA). This program is affiliated with Purbanchal University in Biratnagar, Nepal. It is a four-year program distributed in eight semesters with a total study load of 120 credit hours. Students are required to take compulsory, core and specialization courses together with project work, elective and internship. 

This program has a special feature, running as a twining program of University of Idaho.

English Language Program

Under this English Language program, SANN International College offers TOEFL preparation and Academic English. North American English teachers teach in these programs. The program use eclectic approach and aims at improving second language abilities in listening, reading and speaking. This English Language Program is expected to help students to obtain higher scores in TOEFL as well as in their regular academic programs.
