SANN Research Institute provides students around the globe an opportunity to explore the world and experience the cultural, social, political and economic variations in different parts of the world. Under its study abroad programs it takes undergraduate students from the United States to different parts of the world; and under its exchange program it brings in students from around the world to the US. Students while experiencing the world earn their credits. Students have found SANN programs as a best way to earn their credits. In 1988, Narayan Shrestha, a native of Boulder Colorado, conceived the idea of student exchange between USA and Nepal--taking American students to Nepal to study the local culture and religions as part of their regular university credits. As a result, the SANN Research Institute was born in 1989 with the exchange program called Semester in Nepal. Since then, the Semester in Nepal program has extended its base to many Universities and students now have the option of earning credit through various Universities of the US. Over the time SANN initiated various study abroad programs for the American students to participate in different countries. ____________________________________________________________________________ Programs
